| Lisa Dergan Playboy Playmate |
Playboy Playmate Lisa Dergan is an aquiline blonde beauty who has turned her good looks and love of sports into a thriving career as a sports TV personality. Lisa was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 10, 1970. She moved with her family to Hawaii while still a toddler, then back to San Diego, California, where she spent the bulk of her childhood. Lisa graduated from San Diego State University in 1995 with a degree in art. She then landed a job as an interior decorator for Chili's Restaurants. Somehow, though, the thrill of designing booths for maximum onion ring accessibility began to wear off. Lisa decided to try her luck at acting and modeling, hoping to put her luscious 34C-24-34 curves to work for her. She landed a few small parts on TV shows like 'Frasier' and 'Silk Stalkings,' but it wasn't until she appeared in the pages of Playboy that her career really took off. Lisa was named Miss July 1998. She flitted around the edges of the entertainment scene for a couple more years, until landing a gig broadcasting with L.A. sports guru Jim Hill on local TV. She soon got snapped up by Fox Sports, and she has worked as a newsreader on 'The Best Damn Sports Show Period,' as well as covering everything from the Indy 500 to the Kentucky Derby to the NHL All Star Game. Lisa also served as the co-host of the short-lived game show 'Smush' in 2001. She also showed up in her first starring role in a film that year. Lisa played Bodicia in the female swords-and-sandals epic 'The Arena.' The flick was a straight-to-video 'Gladiator' rip-off, but it did feature some great segments of an oiled-down Lisa engaging in sweaty pit battles with fellow Playmates. Lisa continues to work for Fox Sports, and plans to stay in sports broadcasting for as long as they'll have her. She having too much fun to think about doing anything else. And the viewing public's having too much fun watching her.
